Driver

WE Hard Drive

August 5, 2002 – September 26. 2016

He had a good long life of 14 years and 2 months full of love, adventure and travel and will be sorely missed.

Driver had the most races of any greyHound I have adopted so far (99) and was by far the most beautiful runner I have ever had. If there was a visual for the term “poetry in motion”, it would be Driver. He was a gentle soul and a gem of a dog.

He and his bud in life, Dudley, were my best ever travelling companions. I chose this picture of him from our last trip to Kansas in 2014 because he was so proud of himself for figuring out he could get up on the hotel bed ? He was 12 then. He was 9 when he figured out he could get on the couch and it was pretty comfy! Talk about an old dog learning new tricks! Once he found that couch, there was no turning back!

Run free my handsome old man and thank you for giving me the joy of having an old greyhound
